Hi, I’m Maria Paula, but everyone calls me Mapa.

My background spans several industries, including hospitality, enterteinment, education and tech-focused digital platforms. I have worked on branding, social media campaign, motion graphic and publication design, adapting concepts into visuals that are consistent thoughtful, and aligned with each project’s goals. I  hold a Master’s in Communication Design and two Bachelor’s degrees, one in Marketing and Advertisement and another in Audiovisual Media.

I’m passionate about learning new things, spending time in nature, taking photos, reading books, and creating designs. I see myself on a constant journey of discovering beauty in life through experiences and meaningful connections.

I’m deeply interested in discursive design and in projects with challenging storytelling. History and culture inspire me, and I believe design is a powerful tool to communicate stories, share knowledge, and contribute to our collective understanding.
