Sinopsys: Set in a dystopian future governed by the currency system of Etivus, time itself becomes the ultimate form of money. In this world, debts are not repaid with coins or notes but with fragments of one’s lifespan. Etivus, the omnipresent bank, manages and monitors every account, ensuring that all debts are collected—even at the cost of life itself.
This short film was created as part of a Masterclass in Discursive Design. Working in a group of three, we explored fictional design as a way to critique the unfairness of current economic currencies.
